Accounts Executive/ Assistant
A leading hardware items distribution company situated in Makola, Kiribathgoda is looking for a dynamic candidate to our Accounts department for the above post.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of handling petty cash, bank accounts and supplier payments will be an added advantage
• Liaise with 3rd party person/ organizations when necessary
Required skills and knowledge
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leadership to achieve organizational objectives.
• Full/ Part professional/academic qualifications in Accountancy.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to multitask and perform with minimum supervision
• Thorough knowledge of payment procedure and taxation will be added advantage.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to assign and dedicate task
